Claims Reporting Services
Lumbermens Insurances makes it a priority to see that you receive the highest level of claims service when you need it. We make sure your internal claims reporting procedures are properly established and we have an in-house claims department to help process, report and manage your claims. We have developed systems and procedures to ensure that important claims issues are not overlooked. In addition, we offer consulting services on claims handling under self-insurance programs.
There are three areas where we will provide assistance in reporting claims and providing claims data.
1.) Internal Loss Reporting and Record Keeping
The first involves reviewing your internal claim reporting procedures. We will ensure that you are maintaining adequate record keeping and documentation of potential claims. If you do not have a procedure in place, we will help design and implement a program and provide any desired training.
2.) Claims Status and Loss Summary Reports
The second area is in the reporting of loss information back to you. We will develop a reporting system that meets your needs including individual claim status reports and regular loss summary reports that includes any claim trends.
3.) Loss Forecasting and Retention Analysis Reports
Another area concerning claims, is analyzing your loss experience for risk purposes. We will provide you with a comprehensive analysis of its historical loss costs, project expected loss experience for renewal purposes, and provide loss retention analysis services to assist in determining deductibles and self-insurance levels.
Agency Claims Services
1.) Property/Casualty Claims Assistance:
Review your in-house claims reporting procedures.
We review your internal claims reporting practices and set up procedures to ensure proper reporting of claims. This includes reporting procedures between our office and yours.
Reporting and Claims Management
We receive your claim report and ensure that claims are
reported timely to your insurance company. We set up and
maintain internal claim files, dairying and monitoring the status
of
your claims.
Advice on Coverage's
Our licensed agents review your policies and advise you of coverage's affecting your claim so you know what to expect and can make important decisions affecting the continuity of services and programs.
Insurance Company Liaison
To ensure good communications and that your interests and special handling requests are served, we serve as your liaison with the insurance company claims department. We encourage regular claims review meetings with insurance company personnel and our clients to improve communications and build a relationship for good claims management.
Claim Review Meetings
We will schedule and participate in claims review meetings with the insurance company and you. We can advise on claim management strategies and proactive procedures.
Claims Status & Loss Reports
We can provide regular claims status reports on open claims keeping you advised of claims activities and developments. We also provide you with a customized computerized loss report giving you summary information about your claims. This report can be tailored to fit your particular needs.
